2022 POSITIONS

FULL-TIME POSITION (position filled!)

  • April - November

  • Monday-Friday

  • Spring and Fall - 8 or 9am start until 4pm (33-38hrs/wk)

  • Summer - 7am start until 4pm (about 44hrs/wk)

  • July-October - Farmers Market in Boston every Thursday (~10hrs/day)

  • September-October - additional weekend hours are possible

  • $15/hr +

  • No housing is available - must be able to commute by car

  • A full season commitment is required

  • $500 year end bonus for completing the season

PART-TIME POSITION (position filled!)

  • May - November

  • Monday-Wednesday

  • Spring and Fall - 8 or 9am start until 4pm (20-23hrs/wk)

  • Summer - 7am start until 4pm (about 26hrs/wk)

  • September-October - additional weekend hours are possible

  • $15/hr +

  • No housing is available - must be able to commute by car

  • A full season commitment is required

  • $300 year end bonus for completing the season

REQUIREMENTS

  • Farming experience a plus but not required

  • Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented

  • Hardworking and prepared to work in any weather

  • Ability to problem solve and be flexible and focused under pressure

  • Excellent work ethic and positive attitude

  • Punctuality, reliable transportation to the farm and valid driver’s license

  • Commitment to maintain our standards of high quality products while working as efficiently as possible

  • Interested in learning about no-till, small-scale, regenerative farming

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Sowing, transplanting, harvesting, bed prep, trellising, mulching

  • Making weekly compost and monitoring temperature

  • Making compost teas & extracts and applying them in the field

  • Planting, maintaining and propagating perennials and living pathways

  • Establishing and maintaining our pick-your-own flower and herb area

  • Managing and helping customers at the market/farmstand

  • Microscope work and other field testing on Fridays
